It is epic, y'all. Truly epic. (Ok, not really.)
I can't stand the nakedness in our room any longer. It isn't what you think.
See, my mom made these awesome linen curtain panels for me a few years ago. She is the greatest. I have no patience for sewing and the bedroom window is tired of being naked.
Then, I got married and had to quit life. I'm kidding, I think.
Little projects tend to go unfinished due to lack of patience in that department. I never learn.
But now that Spring is officially here, I am ready for a new beginning. Cliche, I know.
I need your help. Desperately and quickly, so that I don't conveniently forget about this little project.
I don't want to spend a lot of money on a curtain rod. That means less than 20 bucks.
The downside: I have to deal with some odd dimensions - 90" height and 74 1/2" width. I guess the only measurement that matters is the width? I am not an interior designer. Someone please educate me.
The upside: I already have these nifty curtain panel rings I will use. Lovely!
I am open to thinking outside the box for a rod (i.e. not your typical curtain rod) and really, all I want is the rod color to complement the curtain panels.
I appreciate any and all suggestions. The sooner the better...before I forget again that I have these awesome curtain panels tucked away in my bedside drawer.
I will even iron the panels before putting them up. I am pretty sure that would be the right thing to do. (Wait, should I even iron linen?)
